SCULPTOR OF UNDERWATER CREATIONS
You can tell by past posts, that I truly love artists that integrate their pieces into the environments they are set in. Be it guerilla advertisement, yarn bombing, street art, you name it, I love it all. So let me introduce you to British artist, Jason deCaires Taylor, who's work goes beyond making a statement in it's environment to becoming an integral and necessary part of it.
Taylor's underwater sculptures not only compose the Museo Subacuático de Arte (MUSA) in Cancun, Mexico where he is both founder and Artistic Director, but his sculptures make appearances in the United Kingdom, the West Indies, and Greece. I'll let his work speak for itself.
