Who knew that you could make all these great at home fixings with the simple help from your freezer?
CLEANING
Place a pot that has burned-on residue in the freezer before scrubbing. This will help the food particles gather together and make it easier to clean up.
Remove wax from candle sticks by first placing it in the freezer. You can then just peel the wax off! (Make sure the candle stick is only made of one type of metal because different metals may expand and contract at different speeds and may get warped otherwise.
Deodorize a garbage disposal by making vinegar ice cubes and feeding them down.
Remove stuck on gum by rubbing a baggy with ice over the spot, then shattering the frozen goo with a blunt object.
TRICKS FOR THE HOME
After a water spill threatens to ruin your photos, place them in the freezer for 15 minutes, then use a butter knife to take them apart without ruining the images.
Before lighting a candle for the first time, place it in the drezer overnight. It will make it last longer once burning.
FIRST AID
Make shapable ice packs by mixing 1 part rubbing alcohol to 3 part water. Mold it over a bowl to fit perfectly over kneecaps or elbows.
Freeze laundry detergent for your own ice pack solution!
Freeze mini ketchup and soy sauce packets to use as ice packs for mini cuts and bumps.
Freeze Aloe Vera for Mosquito relief!
FOOD
Store pre-made ice cream balls for parties in cupcake pans!
Store un-popped kernels from store bought pop corn bags and reuse them in the future for a new fresh batch! Just place them in a sealed brown paper bag to pop!
Freeze the leftover wine at the bottom of the bottle for future cooking adventures. Just drop a few cubes into the pan next time to need to add wine to your favorite recipe!
